There are some legit hot unvalidated rumors that Illinois will or has offered a two sport opportunity.I am interested to see if Schambow pulls a switch like Leusch did a few years ago?
Definitely in the top fiveIf Jonas Williams remains bulletproof… I am riding with him
The kid is special, LWE isn’t the team they are without him.Definitely in the top five
You can make that argument about every star quarterback unfortunately, especially outside of the Catholic League. Libertyville would be good but not close to what they have if he wasn't playing quarterback there. The kid is special, LWE isn’t the team they are without him.
Have some class man...Lol I relish the chance to hear the crap they will come up with. Hoping Elliot's mom chimes in also
All.... If you could bring him young Mr. Hill back in a time machine with the style of football when Hickey was playing. Who is first pick on your Crusader team between the two? Same question if Hickey in his high school prime was teleported into year 2024. Ratsy P.S. And yes I have been watchung sci fi movies as of late.Dierre Hill had three carries, two touchdowns and 123 yards in the first round.
Doesn’t matter he’s an all state wrestler for this conversation.Aaron Stewart (RB) Warren Township. 8A Leading rusher has a junior. Plus all state wrestler.
Cmon Micah, at least show some North Suburban love to the kid that torched you from Libertyville.Aaron Stewart (RB) Warren Township. 8A Leading rusher has a junior. Plus all state wrestler.
Cool but it means nothing for player of year for football…Schambow played in baseball showcase game October 26/27 in Jupiter FL. Much MLB attention. Verbal commit to Oklahoma State baseball. Video from August 18 All Star game in San Diego attached. Schambow catching, see back-pick. Watch Schambow framing pitches (strikes). Baseball decision(s) to be made next spring.
Miguel Sime Jr.'s scoreless 6th inning | 08/15/2024
Miguel Sime Jr. strikes out a pair of batters in a scoreless top of the 6th inningwww.mlb.com
Very true but I'm not sure that's what he was trying to say. The only thing that matters is 50 TD passes 3 INTs and over 3,000 yards throwing the ball. Edgy should give it to him now because nobody's closeCool but it means nothing for player of year for football…
Maybe some clarification. Certainly Schambow should be a canidate for high school football POY. Both his numbers, and subjective observation of his game play indicates he is among the elite players in IHSA football. Exciting player.Very true but I'm not sure that's what he was trying to say...
ExactlyNeed some clarification - is the pronunciation along the lines of Ro Sham Bo, aka Rock Paper Scissor?
Sounds a lot like former player of the year Jack Lausch.Maybe some clarification. Certainly Schambow should be a canidate for high school football POY. Both his numbers, and subjective observation of his game play indicates he is among the elite players in IHSA football. Exciting player.
However, Schambow's IHSA baseball play (and his numbers) indicate he may also be considered for IHSA baseball POY. Exciting behind the plate, solid bat, without question an elite arm.
Those are some numbers.Very true but I'm not sure that's what he was trying to say. The only thing that matters is 50 TD passes 3 INTs and over 3,000 yards throwing the ball. Edgy should give it to him now because nobody's close
So you're saying there's a chance.Longtime students of the game will have noticed that the Sun-Times Player of the Year award tends to go to a player who leads his team to the finals. But how often in fact has the POY played on a championship caliber team? The award goes back to 1950, but I went back only as far as 1990. Of the 33 POYs since then, 21 played on teams that made it to the finals. So while not strictly necessary, winning a team trophy does confer a distinct advantage.
Definitely talented players but that just means you need to get out and see more gamesTwo most impactful players I've seen this season are Jack Elliott of Mount Carmel and Myles Mitchell of Richards. Both are tremendously gifted and play with ample amounts of heart.
Then pick alphabetical order!I don't think you can go wrong with Bell, Hill or Schambow.
And everyone knew he was getting the ball. Althoff is 5-5 without Hill. IMHO @crusader_of_90 no disrespect but....Dierre's final stats:
51 touchdowns and eight 2PATs for 322 points.
2586 rushing yards on 155 carries for and average of 16.7 per.
364 receiving yards for a total of 2950 total yards from scrimmage.
One state title on an undefeated team.
