Peoria richwoods

Anyone know anything about them and was there conference Down this year it's normally one of the better football conferences in the state?

I’m an 87 Richwoods grad. A lot has changed at Richwoods and the Greater Peoria area since Richwoods was the football powerhouse I knew them to be in the 70s 80s and 90s.

More parity than ever. Peoria Central seems to have become more of a football school than in years past. This may be aided by the recent closing of Woodruff. A lot of the traditional football talent on the North side of Peoria has migrated out of District 150 to either Dunlap (used to be a small school, now same size as Richwoods) or to Peoria Notre Dame for those live in Peoria but don’t want to deal with the demise of the public schools (see Rockford kids going to Boylan, Joiliet kids going to JCA, Springfield kids going to SHG etc).

Richwoods appears to be a middle of the pack team in their conference. I have not seen them play but would not bet on a deep run from the Knights.
