This KO return has been around since at least the mid-1960s and one name it had was, "The Huddle." I saw Evergreen Park run it with success a few times with a quick scatback they had on their roster. Back then you could get away with trying that a few times considering video exchange was not yet a "thing" and I wonder if in-person scouting was even permitted? Signed, "Old as Dirt"
