Great opening drive for ND. Then nothing really for either team. Pat's defense playing well. Some mistakes/penalties kept SP drives alive--but their two promising drives both ended in interceptions.

Lightning delay with 6 min left in half means no action for at least a half hour.

End of the 3rd quarter in Niles. Still 7-0 and more of the same from yesterday. Neither offense can get anything going--but St. Pat's offense has looked better than ND's. Shamrocks finding success on screens and quick slants but haven't been able to finish a drive. ND cannot do anything on offense.

Dons go for it on 4th and 3 in St. Pat's territory. Sayles rolls out and hits a wide open TE for an easy TD. Shamrocks were looking run all the way.

Game goes final in Niles and Dons preserve the shutout. Shamrocks' defense gave ND fits and held them to their lowest offensive output of the season, but the Dons defense stepped up.

Interested to see how the rest of SP's season plays out. They fall to 2-3 with Viator, Fenwick, Marist and MCC on the schedule. Will be tough to go 3-1 vs that schedule but after what I saw today, I think it's possible.

After seeing them (Shamrocks) last week I was pleasantly surprised with their team. They have a group of nice players.

Carmel Catholic played them tough and had them beat, but Pat’s never gave up.

I’m surprised this (vs ND) was as close as it was.
