North Central College wins D3 National Title 41-25!! Third title in five years. 🏈😀

QB Lehnen back in high school was the starting qb for three years (17-19) at Chatham/Glenwood out of the Central State Eight Conference. His best season was 2019 throwing for over 2000 yards and 24 td's. Also that year rushing for just under 1400 and I didn't remember this till looking it up scoring 30 td's on the ground. The Titans arguably their greatest squad (yes better then the 98 team that won state) were only going to be stopped by one team that year. They finished 12-1 losing to the Flyers from Estl on the road 50-28. Ratsy

Competition level. If he thrives in the UFL then he may get a shot, but going straight from D3 to the NFL as a QB would be an astronomical acheivement.
Agree that the UFL is a great opportunity for him. He’s taller than Kyler Murray and Bryce Young. He’s fast and quick. Smart as well. Hoping the best for him.
Small frame and lack of arm strength. An amazing player and career but the NFL is a different beast. The previous NCC QB Rutter was a better NFL fit but even he didn’t make it.
Nothing wrong with being a stud HS or DII/DIII player, not everyone is cut out for the NFL lol.
