My friend's little brother, Mitch Vogrin, got the save tonight for Minooka. No big deal right? Wrong, he was tearing apart the freshman level so much they gave him a few innings and at bats on JV then finally a chance in the varsity game tonight. I obviously attended WWS and know that for a freshman to contribute to a varsity program as good as Minooka has is a pretty big deal (The Astros drafted a pitcher out of Minooka in the first round last year...) Just thought I'd give him a shout out tonight. Congrats Mitch!

Been an up and down year here in the Nook and from what I've seen this might be more than a one year down cycle...overall talent level over the past few classes seems to be shall we say......lacking?
