I saw that Max Preps came out with their pre season rankings, what are your thoughts?

2 LW East
3 Nazareth
4 Loyola
5 St Rita
6 East St Louis
7 Downers Grove North
8 St Francis
9 Br Rice

Those rankings have change every week for the last three weeks. They are all computer driven right now. “Expert” rankings usually come in July.

I don't know much about Rita's O-line, but if they're bigger than last year and similar to '22, then "why not" at #5.

Realistically, I think they are closer to #10. Not sure if Naz or SF should be that high as well.

I’d think Batavias gotta be somewhere between 7-10. Move St Francis out.

Naz at 3 seems a bit high. They lost a lot, including 2 4-year starters. Who is competing for the QB spot?

SF has 2 transfers who have come in to compete for their QB spot, one from Minnesota who played varsity ball as a freshman last year.

They’ll be just fine at the QB position. Plenty of D1 commits / prospects on the offensive end this year as well.

Question for them will be the defense IMO.

Given they’re a bit of the lone wolf of CCL schools in 5A this year this is arguably the best shot they've had going into a season to win a state title.
