Congrats to Madison High who after many a year have restarted their own football and headed to the state playoffs!!! I guess their kids played football at East St Louis? They got some old Flyers playing and coaching there.Pretty neat!! http://www.sacbee.com/sports/article170807397.html

The story didn't seem to imply that Madison expects to dominate the playoffs or anything. They're just happy to have football back and to have made the playoffs after a 30 year absence from the sport.

Needless to say, good to see a football program being added in Illinois, since Rochester and Manteno started up 15-20 years ago, I can not think of any that have started outside of new schools opened.
