Loyola Academy announces new $27 million theater building

This is a major announcement. It will allow the school to keep up with the new additions approved by the public schools in the ares and also attract the type of student that otherwise may have gone to New Trier or Glenbrook South.

Per the write-up, the location will be at the NE corner of LA’s campus. I believe that’s the quad. There’s not that much land in that area.

They are moving the tennis courts south and the theater will be built there.

I saw the reference to 550 seats -- that's more than the North Light in Skokie or the Writers Theater in Glencoe.
