Though they didn't participate in the state playoffs LaPorte La Lumiere School which had long had a football team in NW Indiana & played North Shore Country Day,Lake Forest Academy & others has dropped football 
Playing as a Independent they had some pretty good football teams.Their basketball always tops.hate to see them drop football.Miss you Lakers
