I only hope one day they get rid of geographical representation for all sports. Get the best teams as far into playoffs as possible

Curious what sports they are discussing competitive balance for. And not sure why, since I am not sure what you would do about it

My proposal, which I know will never happen, would be to mirror how Minnesota manages their state series. Reseed all of the sectional champs when you get to round of 8 or round of 16. This would prevent top schools from meeting each other in quarters or semis.

Still won't address issues of situations when the top 2 team are in same sectional (eg. NT/Loyola in lax, Rita/BR in baseball, LW/Lockport in soccer)
