For the first time in 48 years, a Padjen (Tom for 40 and Bob for 8) will not be the Head Coach at TFS in Lansing.
TF South hires coach: TF South officially hired Trent Jensen as its program's sixth football coach on Tuesday with the approval by the board of education's approval. Jensen served as TF South's softball coach for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. He was named The Times' Softball Coach of the Year in 2010. He's a 1997 TF South graduate. Jensen has served as an assistant for the football team in prior seasons, serving as the offensive coordinator from 2016 to 2018. The Red Wolves are coming off a 3-6 season and are searching for their first IHSA playoff appearance since the 2021 season.
