NCAA rules in Texas High school football. Also no running clocks.
District 189 now has four former students currently on professional football teams:

STF schedules the SMOKE nationally - picked up Buford, the GA team Flyer fell to last fall 10-8.
That’s not the same team from GA that ESL lost to last year. That was Creekside, a very good team/program but they are a smaller school in a smaller class than Buford. Buford is a 7A school. Creekside is a 5A school.

I do not see EST D fiving up that many points and I will be disappointed if they give up any to in-state teams, or DeSmet for that matter.

Just curious, but that team from Baltimore: is that the team where every school in the conference refused to play them? I feel like I read something like that not too long ago.
Yes st. Francis Academy of Baltimore got booted from its private school
League for being too good a couple years ago.

I do not disagree that the Flyers will be good - have heard some things not mentioned here.
Not a fan of the running clock.Cheats kids out of much needed minutes.Guys that wouldn't play normally or low minutes
