ESL football classic 2024

I forever hope you guys reach out to Alcoa Tennessee & or Maryville Tennessee to play in it one year

All.... Yep the Spartans will pound them. Lift for Life is a charter school out of St. Louis. I looked them up last year when I saw QND scheduled the Hawks. The H.S. part has around 400 kids. The Raiders by the way won that game 20-6.

A question flyerforlife. Do schools that particpate in the classic get any kind of expenses? For instance meals and travel? Ratsy

Lift for Life vs. Wheaton st Francis

Lincoln Way East vs. SFA (Florida)

Cahokia. Vs. Jackson, Mo

ESL. Vs Newton. ( Georgia).

LWE gets tested early can’t say they are ducking competition.

Week 2
Flyer
How did you get this information about LWE? I am very happy if they are going out of state but still would love to see LWE hook horns with the Flyers!

SFA: https://www.speciallyfitacademy.com/
SFA has a professional sports program that is designed and managed by world-class coaches, former athletes and experienced trainers. Our expert team strives to make SFA one of the top academies in the nation and provides state of the art training grounds.

Basically, they are IMG Lite with a side order of Jesus.

Some thoughts: Eli should show up in the Mizzou Drink-o-Copter and recruit the hell out of IMG, and the rest of the kids who come to visit his backyard. Illini coach should borrow a tank or some auspicious apparatus to do the same.

While I am glad ESL takes on a tough Georgia team, they and LWE both were open, both at the same ball, but they just won't be able to dance. Maybe ESL had locked in Newton before LWE was available. I dunno.

Coming the night before, have a terrific breakfast at The Diner in the "entertainment district" of Sauget, IL. Exit 1 on the Illinois side across the Poplar Street Bridge. I get the Haystack.

The Diner was the setting of "23 Minutes to Sunrise" starring Eric Roberts.

FOr those traveling south, here is a reminder of a great food joint. And I am not kidding, their cakes are as good as the BBQ! Plan ahead and order one.

All.... Back in 19 I went to the Titan/Flyer semi final. After the game I stopped off at this fine establishment and picked up pork steak to go. Some of the best I have ever had and I grill it often. Just a skip and hop away from the Flyers stadium. Ratsy

No offense, but which schools are you referring to as the Spartans, Hawks and Raiders.

Just a tidbit from the free Rivals page that notes an advantage of playing a national schedule. Some may refute this by saying, "so what? Dude is still going to get his pick of schools for free."

It's a different game now - a 5-Star will get paid more than a 4-Star.

... Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick’s Nathaniel Marshall looks phenomenal but doesn’t get out much so we’ll have to revisit during the season and beyond. Some guys in this group – of which we don’t have a phenomenal feel yet – could move up quickly. That list includes Mariyon Dye, Iose Epenesa, Darren Ikinnagbon, Damien Shanklin and others, but they have to get out and compete on a national level. Beating up on local high school kids won’t cut it.
