Curious what BR brings back to deserve the 12 spot? Lower levels have struggled tremendously since ‘19. As one poster commented the recruiting effort struggled tremendously when Badke left the building. Seems like this will be the year it catches up with them? What is this Mom missing?

Last year, I saw the LWE-Loyola game, and LWE had a fair bit of juniors, 15 or more.
This season, LWE will indeed be back in a big way.

Except for Loyola, MC is a +14 point favorite .
In the semifinal match, MC will take on Batavia.
At Batavia🤞.
On paper, MC does have the best size, speed, and skill.
Anything else than a state title would be disappointing. Crown them.

You haven't watched Illinois football in the last ten years if LWE and Maine South aren't among the top 10.
Coaching is vital, and they have several players returning.

Calpreps isn't Vegas, which has professional odds-makers, guys who excel in math and statistics. On its homepage, calpreps is asking the coaches of 11,000 high school teams to send in an evaluation of their own team and opponents. Since most coaches can't be bothered with such nonsense, calpreps feeds its limited data into a computer, which generates a GIGO response: Garbage In, Garbage Out.

I agree Calprep doesn’t have a clue in Illinois.

I found that USA Today usually has the most accurate by region but even they can be off.
