Brook 31 Oswego 30 2 OT FINAL

After two TO taken I expected a better play call. The right decision to go for 2 in the 2nd OT in the road, but a handoff to a lineman from the 3 doesn’t cut it.
Was it the right decision? Regular season I get it, but not the playoffs

I’m sure this is the question Oswego folks will be asking for years to come. I wasn’t there and wasn’t watching a stream, so can only speculate Oswego felt their best chance to finish the game was to go for 2.

I really don’t Like the OT rules as the are right now. 4 downs from the 10 going in seems to really favor a power run team, which, from my understanding, Oswego is not. I’d prefer the start be from the 25 or 20, and you have the ability to gain a 1st down.

Right or wrong call, everyone knew they were going for it if that situation came up. As for the call itself, I would have preferred something with a roll out and an option to run or pass, but that play has been called several times this year and usually got Oswego the yards they needed.
