Yeah . When is the last time Neuqua Valley got shut out on their own field?
NNFAN .I told you the Huskies would handle HF... Nice win by Waubonsie...
Naperville Central's got a lot of work to do..held off a Hinsdale late game threat..

Oswego played lights out. Their lines dominated. All of the credit goes to their kids who played hard, fast, and with a hop in their step. They were well prepared.

All of the talk for NV was the O had most everyone back and the D was the question mark. The O was what you would expect from this staff. Disjointed, unprepared, and unfocused. The D was typical Neuqua. Tough, fast, and great tackling.

Happens every year. They disappoint against teams they should handle (DeKalb, WWS), then play great against the teams they're up for (NN, LWE, St. Mary's).

Buck..did the Wildcats ever get close to get something? Like Central who on a 3 & goal and 4th and goal both plays from the 1 yard line could not score on Hinsdale....but that's what happens when you habd the ball off 5 yards in the backfield..it becomes a 6 yard play smh
Ok so now the Wildcats host Minooka next week. The Indians ran roughshod over Rock Island. tonight.

Not really. They had one drive that got down inside the 10 but missed a FG on a bad snap. OHS scored their first points on a bad snap on a NV punt deep in their own territory.

You know the NV offense. Talented, always. They are rarely well prepared and hardly ever out scheme anyone. Who still sends their QB to the sideline after every play to get the next call?

As mentioned, Oswego is legit. They are big, fast, and very well coached. They are going to cause some problems this year.

I would say the lopsided Waubonsie win over Oswego East. Waubonsie's roster was gutted (players quitting/ injuries) and were on life support last season, finishing 0-9. Shocking turnaround for them. Just noticed that WV scored 44 points all of last year, and had 28 tonight.
Which means when WV plays NN in week 8 you'll be predicting a Warrior beatdown of the Huskies right?
