Who you like to advance in the classes? Some sectionals are deep, some are lopsided...as usual. IHSA give us best of 3 series like other states do!!

In the 3A Lincoln sectional, Mahomet is probably a slight favorite over 2022 runner-up Chatham. Mahomet is the clear favorite in Sub Sectional B. Chatham has a shot in any game that Louisville commit Parker Detmers pitches, but their offense is not nearly as productive as last year. They should be slightly favored in Sub Sectional A over Springfield, a veteran dominated team with three good pitchers. Rochester and SHG are dark horses. Rochester split with both Chatham and Springfield in the regular season, beating Detmers 4-3 two weeks ago even though he threw a no-hitter.
