Based on jr’s and soph’s who are the top teams for 2025

I don’t know the entire breakdown of MC’s roster but the 2 freshman were impact players on this years championship team.
Idk about the rest of the roster but the sophomore qb from batavia looked good.
STF has 19 returning starters from their semi-final team
Need to see how free agency plays out first.
LA will be testing the validity of "LA just reloads" big time in 2025. 2024 was a senior laden team with many of the stars having been 2 year starters.
6A will look a lot different next year. Should be fun with the additions to the playoff field.
MC has 4 OL back, 2 WRs, 3 DL (others who rotated in also), 2 LB, CB, and others who started/on the field a lot i.e. Breakey, Conjar, Madden Wilson.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen two freshmen play as big a role in the playoffs as those two did this year for MC.
and this is why they are 8A favorites!
My guess is top 3 in 8A are LWE, Maine S and MC.
8A goes through LA until someone beats them consistently. After the way LA dog walked MC in week 9 this season I think Lynch might have to pull a Herb Brooks to get MC ready for LA. Especially with a new QB next season.
The line will be fine, 2-3 starters back. QB will be tougher to replace, but Freshmen received a lot of playing time and is big, fast and talented. Defense is losing a lot. so much depends on FB's health.
PR will be tough next year with QB back.
I’m confident Loyola will re-load and compete for 4 in a row next year. Probably won’t be perfect at the beginning of the season and have some growing pains, but they’ll coach them up. Hopefully, they play a tough OOC schedule, even if that means losing a game. Personally, I would love to play ESL every year. Proved to be beneficial this year.
Should have went right across the sideline in the 7a title game and had a conversation with the Batavia qb
