2024 Team 7on7 or Team Summer Camp?
Joint Practice with Lake Forest and McHenry
7 on 7 at Prospect and Lake Forest
Impact Player for Lakes
Lakes will lean on a roster and a starting lineup that welcomes back a strong group of experienced starters especially on the offensive side of the football in 2025. Keep an eye on senior QB Ean Ankney along with senior RB/LB Tyler McCall this fall for the Eagles.
EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2025 Lakes Eagles
Lakes has no question struggled over the past handful of seasons and is looking to get back to it's winning ways. Lakes is just 7-20 over the last three seasons under head coach Jason Ellerman after this program posted consecutive IHSA state playoff appearances from 2009 thru 2021 seasons. The Eagles will again rely this fall on a starting lineup that welcomes back 14 returning starters (9 offense 5 defense) and hopefully Lakes can find it's way to 5 wins and a state playoff berth in 2025.
The biggest question facing Lakes this summer?
Can Lakes recapture the magic from the recent past and get back to becoming a contender in the Northern Lake County Conference? Lakes as mentioned has struggle over the last handful of seasons, but the program still seems to have overall numbers and talent still in the building. The schedule will not be easy at all in 2025 having adding Glenbrook North to the schedule along with some very solid teams in the NLCC. I'm looking for the Lakes Eagles to get to say the 4 win range in 2025.
Preseason Ranking? None for now
