Biggest Question facing Stagg this fall?

Can experience bring wins in for the Chargers this fall? Head coach Colt Nero and the Chargers are hoping that a deeper, more varsity experienced team can provide a better finish this coming fall. Stagg went 0-6 this past spring and just struggled to provide much consistency on either side of the football playing it's usual rough schedule in the Southwest Suburban Red. Look for Stagg to rely on a strong core with 19 returning starters back in the fold this fall.

Impact Player for Stagg:

SeniorTE/DE Toriano Ford is a good sized and talented overall athlete who will be asked to provide leadership on and off the field for the Chargers this fall. Also senior WR/DB Moe Ahmed is a speedy and hard nosed player to watch as well for Stagg this season.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Stagg Chargers:

Stagg and head coach Colt Nero is looking to turn the fate of the Chargers football program, a programs that last won a varsity football game back in week 1 of the 2019 season. The program has just struggled to get overall numbers and talent onto the field, yet the depth and experience back this fall is no question an encouraging sign heading into the fall.

Game to Watch this Fall? Week 1 @ Zion Benton

The Zee Bees are always talented and athletic, yet Zion Benton in general won't face the level of competition that Stagg faces year in and year out. Look for Week 1 at Zion-Benton and Week 2 hosting Oak Lawn as real win possibilities for Stagg this fall. And who knows, if Stagg can get out of the gates well maybe they could be in line for a handful of wins this fall?
