Biggest Question facing Chicago Christian this fall?
Can the Knights compete and hang with the upper tier of the Metro Suburban conference this fall? Chicago Christian and first year head coach Tom O'Connor takes over a program that had a successful spring season, posting a 5-1 record. The Knights only loss in the spring came against Metro Suburban Blue power Bishop McNamara (40-0) and while the Irish are off the schedule, in steps Wheaton St. Francis. Look for the Knights to compete for the Red conference title and to have a good shot at a state playoff spot this fall.
Impact Player for Chicago Christian
Senior OL/DL Matt Hahn is a multi-year starter and an inside grinder for the Knights. Hahn, who has been drawing recruiting interest and offers from various FCS/D2 schools this summer and will continue to draw recruiting attention this fall. Also senior RB/DB Luke Jelderks is a track standout who also is a highly productive player and a game breaker for the Knights this season.
Game to Watch this Fall? Week 4 @ St. Francis
St. Francis moves into the Metro Suburban red conference this fall and the Spartans will be one of the highest ranked teams in Class 4A this fall. Chicago Christian will have a chance to truly see where the program is at when they hit the road to Wheaton.
