Id want to see them change how they seed 1-8 in class 7a/8a. Massey, AP, Maxpreps, etc. Something better to avoid the top teams from meeting before the qtr finals.

Gautcher can run, but I wouldn't say he's a running QB. The offense doesn't revolve around his running ability.

SF threw all over Loyola who had an Iowa commit at safety along with a Washington commit at the opposite safety position. It’s going to be a great game with some points scored by both teams.

Weather will be a factor, if it’s good passing weather that favors SF heavily IMO.

I think if SF plays their “A+” game, they have too much firepower for anyone in 5A not named Nazareth or Joliet Catholic.

With that being said…Sycamore is 11-0 and really, really good. And it’s at Sycamore. If SF plays a B- or B type game they lose.

My gut says Sycamore squeaks out a W led by a strong senior class, and SF goes into the offseason as the comfortable 5A favorites next year. Naz vs. Sycamore 2022 semifinals rematch the following week, with a Naz JCA championship game rematch at ISU.

Same team JCA played last year. Plenty of speed and never punt. As long as JCA doesn't try to get in and track meet with them they will be fine.

SF for the win. Too much WR speed and a QB that can deliver the rock. Too many weapons on offense and their defense will figure out Sycamore after a few series.
