Week 3 is the start of Conference play, with 1 cross-over game per week. This week, that Crossover is York at Downers Grove South. While I don't mean to downplay the Gold division, the only toss up game to me is Morton at Proviso East.
Silver, however, has 2 big match-ups. Downers Grover North goes to Glenbard West next Saturday. GW has yet to score an offensive point, but their defense has been stout. This is the first trip onto Duchon for the young sophomore DGN QB. This game will tell us a lot about both teams. There is also the always big rivalry game between Hinsdale Central and Lyons Township. A lot of different outlooks and story lines in this one - but as I'm an HC "Homer", I don't want to sound too bias. Let's just say I don't think either team is as good or as bad as their record shows.
