WSC Wk4 Prediction Thread

Week 4 features several interesting matchups in the WSC. DGN travels to York in a matchup of 3-0s; LT travels to OPRF; and DGS travels to Willowbrook in a game with early playoff implications. In the prediction game, AT hosting PE may allow for some to gain a point and move up the board.

Reminder - Leyden vs. Morton is Thursday night, so picks need to be in early. Good luck to all!

Ha! Yes, you are correct. However, missing week 1 with 14 games skews that perception. By the end of the season, the sample sizes will be more comparable.

Looking through twitter this morning - apparently the Morton/Leyden game went into Overtime last night. Morton pulled out the win 30-29. Tied 23-23, Lyden attempted a 40 yard FG with 4 seconds left for the win, but was short and wide right. Second play of OT, Leyden ran the ball for a TD, but missed the XP. On Morton's first play, they ran for a score and made the XP for the win.

Sounds like a fun, competitive game. Congrats to Morton.

Well, that was a fun weekend of football in the WSC. Two overtime games (Morton vs. Leyden; York vs. DGN), and only 1 blow out (PW vs. GW). We also saw Willowbrook lose in conference for the first time in... I believe 5 years? I don't have the institutional knowledge to recall with certainty, and I am admittedly too lazy to look it up.

Overall, the board went 75.51% correct this week, with 14 participants predicting 7 games. The board was 100% correct choosing both Morton and Glenbard West as winners. The lowest collective pick was DGS vs WB at 21.43%. This season, only the OPRF vs Fenwick game came in lower at 7.69%.

@Panthers1211 was the sole 7-0 selector; all others were above .500, so no need to call anyone out.
