Wilmington 6 Montini 14 2nd Q (I think) they don't have a score board on the stream AND the announcer is WAY TOO obnoxious.

Somebody please help with the score. I can't handle Montini's announcers. And the f'ing cheering Montini horse after avery good play , might just be the MOST obnoxious thing ever..

It might be 21 - 6 now
just put it on mute. Montini hasn't scored since I've been watching so if it was 14-6 then it's still the same.

Wow I imagined this one to be closer, was it self inflicted by wilmo? Haven’t heard of them held under two scores in at least 6 years

Wilmo was very banged up and outgunned. Game unfortunately got a little bit sideways. Cats needed to play their best game and weren’t able to. Credit to Montini. They are outstanding.

It doesn’t happen very often. They actually didn’t score a TD a couple years ago vs Braidwood in a 50-5 loss.
I thought they moved the ball better than I expected today. The problem was that their defense got torched way more than I expected.

Reed Custer ? Wow (edit. 50-5 has got to be the strangest score I’ve ever heard of)

Montini Athletics on Facebook is showing pictures of Montini having a flyover for the National Anthem. I got there late. They did have a Bronco lead the team out onto the field and fireworks at the end of the game.

Very impressive pregame festivities.
I’m a fan of night games, but for a daylight game this was great. The team was led out by the horse and rider. There was an impressive fireworks display (for daylight). And then a flyover during the climax of the national anthem. Outstanding job.
My only (minor) gripe was the music. It was like going back in time 20 years and I didn’t have my glow sticks

Yes it used to be just rock music which is what I like. I dont know if they do this because the kids of this generation like it??

There was some rock music, and some “themed” music based on situations, but there was a bunch of house/techo stuff that was a little odd. It was fine though. I thought it was a really good overall HS atmosphere.

I’d have rather it been down in Wilmo though 😉

It’s very Jersey Shore. As a Holy Cross alum, I’m way too familiar with all the techno and heart throb music. I loved it back in the early 90s, but then I left it in the early 90s too. It’s comical. I have a sneaking suspicion about why it’s played, but I’ll keep that to myself.

I think they had Byron at home too- maybe the techno is the key to stopping those vaunted offenses! 25 combined points allowed to Wilmo and Byro is nothing to sneeze at ?
