Again this is always a very busy week so my goal is to get you something the morning after each of the NCC camps. This list is tentative until, later this week when I can get more detailed roster info etc. I will add additional comments later as well.

As I always remind you.....I try my best to see all 400 plus kids at this event spread out over two separate locations (main stadium and practice fields) but I know going in this is an impossible task...yet I still try my best to see as much as possible. If you have a way of me getting tom watch all 400 plus kids here please let me know and thanks.

Who Stood Out: NCC Camp Session 1 Monday 2027/2028/2029

Class of 2027

#4 WR Jayden Cawthon Plainfield East Has really good overall ball skills and strong hands along with running very good routes as well.

#6 TE Brady Johnson Glenbard West Nice combination of ball skills, size and has the ability to play either in the slot of as a more traditional tight end with a hand in the ground. Will continue to add more good sixe and weight down the line.

#6 QB Aiden Williams Maroa Forsyth- Good size here and throws a strong ball as well.

#7 QB Cam Brinkman Sacred Heart Griffin - Another younger signal caller with a nice all around game and abilities. Made some nice throws in positional work.

#13 WR Tyler Stamm Lyons Township Much like his older brother Travis....Tyler has a nice combination of sixe, good speed and is a versatile player and athlete as well.

#14 WR Bennett Konkey Geneva The more I see the more I like of Bennett Konkey who ran and tested well, has great hands and will become a go to guy in 2025. Lots of upside here as well.

#15 QB Ben Peterson Geneva Younger gun slinger who is expected to take over the starting job at Geneva after sitting behind a senior in 2024. Peterson has impressive size (6-foot-4. 210 pounds) a big and pretty accurate arm and his overall recruiting stock I feel will continue to rise.

#17 DB Rylan Dehr Bolingbrook Speedy and twitchy athlete who ran and tested very well here. Is a bit undersized for now for the bigger schools but his speed and athleticism really stood out here.

#21 WR Darin Arishu Batavia Another strong athlete who also has some twitch and explosive tools and ability. Has a chance to develop into a go to guy for Batavia this fall.

#25 RB Dylan Manning Rochelle The more I see of Dylan Manning the more I like of him. Manning, who plays multiple positions at Rochelle has legit speed and burst, tested overall very well and he will draw more looks and attention this summer and fall.

#30 RB Quinn Durkin Sandburg Sandburg had a handful of kids here that looked the park and passed the eyeball test and that includes Quinn Durkin. Durkin looks to have a nice combination of speed and strength, he also ran well and was impressive in the limited reps I saw here.

#37 TE Owen Matela Lyons Township- Big receiver who no question could wind up playing tight end at the college level. Matela measured in at 6-foot-5, and 201 pounds and his lenfgth, reach and ability to just go get the ball was impressive here.

#44 RB Vincent Heydecker Schaumburg- Another running back who has a nice mix of straight line speed and some burst and wiggle.

#48 TE Konrad Hozian Niles ND-Overall just a really nice combination of speed and I can see him wind up playing linebacker at the next level along with tight end. Tested well here and also just loved well in positional work.

#55 OL Josh Mathley DeKalb Just had a pretty solid overall camp including putting in some strong reps in one oin ones. Measured in at 6-foot-4, 250 pounds and looks to have the frame to adde more good weight and size down the line.

#62 OL Tommy Matson Yorkville Again just another solid all around linemen who also has the look of a kid who will get bigger and stronger from here on out.

#68 OL Gannon Dunker Lena Winslow The younger brother of former Le Win and current Iowa and NFL OL Gennings Dunker, Ganner doesn;t have the size of his older brother but his overall game and fundamentals are pretty solid. Could wind up as say an OC or a DT at the college level.

#76 OL Joseph Goduto Buffalo Grove Nice sized kid (6-foot-4, 300 pounds) who showed some flashes in one on ones and I'm excited to see his 2025 season video.

#89 WR Lucas Matykiewicz Sandburg Has impressive size (6-foot-4, 194 pounds) runs really well and was able to make some great catches in traffic here. Looks more ande more like a kid who could wind up playing tight end at the higher college level in my opinion. Lots of positives here and look for more and more colleges to get involved sooner rather than later.

Class of 2028/2029

#3 QB Sam Holcomb Downers Grove North 2029- The son of QB Coach Greg Holcomb is still in grade school but his overall game is highly advanced. Showed well here going against older kids and his overall arm talent, touch and feel really stands out. Sam will be a top name on the rise and still has room to grow.

#5 QB AJ Rodgers Wheaton South 2028- Another kid who looks physically advanced for his age and who also passes the eyeball test. Was consistently good all day showed strong arm talent and abilities.

#17 DB Jayden Ruth Yorkville 2028- Younger guy who still has room to grow and add more weight and strength, Ruth ran very well and also tested well here.

#44 TE Vincenzo Schrementi Minooka 2028- Minooka always seems to have talent and this is a name to watch over the next few seasons. Vincenzo measured in at 6-foot-4, 200 pounds and just looks to be a kid who will continue to add more good weight and strength.

#76 OL Wyatt Van Boening Carmel 2028- Yes another Van Boening is on the rise and in some ways Wyatt has a chance to develop into a top of the line name in the Class of 2028. Wyatt has excellent size and length (6-foot-6, 266 pounds) and also moved well in testing and drill work. Still a work in progress when it comes to one on ons but his upside is real.

#91 OL Kajus Murakis Waubonsie Valley 2028- Another long and lanky kid and another name to watch this fall. Kajus checked in at 6-foot-6, 248 pounds and is indeed a younger kid with a ton of room for growth and development.
