Chicago (Ill.) Solorio sophomore quarterback recruit Quincy Patterson (6-foot-3, 220 pounds) will be one of the most sought after names in the Class of 2018. get to know Patterson here along with discussing his latest visit to Northwestern here.
"I visited Northwestern for a spring practice," Patterson said. "I've also been in touch with more and more schools and we are seeing more coaches in school"
Patterson recapped his recent visit to Northwestern.
"I visited Northwestern last week for a spring practice. They had a lot of guys at the practice and some of the coaches came over to talk to me. Northwestern told me that they are looking at me as an athlete type of recruit for them. It was my first recruiting visit to Northwestern and it's a really nice school. They are building a new indoor facility and I just liked it at Northwestern."
Patterson, who holds an impressive 3.9 GPA filled us in on his latest suitors.
"Besides Northwestern I've been in touch with Stanford, Yale, Penn State, Toledo, Syracuse and Indiana. Penn State, Syracuse and Indiana are supposed to be in school next week."
Patterson also talked about his strengths on the field and what he needs to improve upon.
"I run the football pretty well. I'm working on improving my passing and my quarterback fundamentals. I'm also playing 7on7 with HeroH this spring."
My Take on Quincy Patterson recruiting? Insanely great looking kid on the hoof. Will just get bigger and stronger from here on out. I'm also saying athlete as a position for Patterson unless he can make some improvements in his overall QB fundamentals, yet everyone will recruit this kid.
