Tyler Macon 1st Start against Georgia

I wish they didn’t mess around with Cook. Mizzou was going to get rolled regardless but I think Macon gave them a better moving offense. Really excited for his future. I think he can push Bazelak for QB1 next year.

Yeah, I agree. Kinda hard to get into rhythm.

That 4th down run early in the game - even though they did not gain the first down - showed he is ready for SEC ball.

His passing kinda sucked - short-armed and he was nervous it seemed.
My Mizzou group chat was all in agreement that he should see more time the rest of the year. His legs will be a weapon and his passing will come along. Remaining games vs South Carolina Florida and Arkansas should provide some good growth opportunities.

I felt the same way about his passing. Definitely seemed nervous, but understandably so.

But that will burn his redshirt. There will be outrage.

Those 3 opponents will provide him with an opportunity to have more success. The Dawgs D is killing everyone

This kid has such a big arm am I missing something? I watched in person him continually put balls on the money on the road against Batavia a few yrs ago. Surprised his arm is behind as I thought that was his biggest strength.. accuracy and strength.

Not sure how many games he played in prior to today but isn’t the new rule he can play in 4 games and still keep the redshirt?
