I believe it was named for the neighborhood it's located in. The school is not that old.

Field turf, they currently had the gravel down but still no track and they still doing sewer work so maybe a week 9 game if they are lucky I’m guessing but doesn’t seem likely.

The "Stock Yards" used to be just East of there where live stock was butchered. The aroma was pretty bad if the wind was blowing the wrong direction.

I don't follow the Storm. I used to live in Chicago and went to Rita and continue to be a big fan. I try to follow the teams online, but I haven't been able to see the Freshmen play yet this year.

I will be at the varsity game Friday night and see if St. Rita will stream their Freshman game Saturday vs Loyola.

For now, enjoy the freshman highlights from the Joliet Catholic game a couple of weeks ago.
