This isnt Peoria Central's 1st time doing this....
I didn't watch the game but i saw that it was 78-0 at halftime so only 2 scores in the 2nd half. Sounds like they let dialed it back quite a bit.
I just need full context before passing any judgement. How long were the starters in? What types of plays were they running? Were they blocking punts and stuff like that? Etc..
Back when Maine South Maine Southed people, I always felt is was embarrassing. Not to mention in a game like that it was so stupid because the next year we would have to replace a number of starters with kids that had very few plays the previous year. Hence 2010 when we get Maine Southed by WWS on National television and lose the next week to Schaumburg. I agree with above that you never ever want to tell your kids not to go all out as it sends a bad message, but it can be curtailed. Peoria AD needs a sit down with the HC.
