Sure hope the Illini fare better than NIU

Not gonna lie was disappointed yet also not surprised that NIU was blown out......disappointed because an Illinois based team got slaughtered plus I like NIU but also not surprised.....just felt for awhile that this NIU team wasn't anywhere close to the past 4-5 teams.

Sure hope Illinois can win or at least make it competitive.

LaTech does an excellent job of creating turnovers. O'Toole will have to take what they give him and protect the ball. Do that and it will be close (or an Illini win).

Interesting that when you look at the stats from the NIU game the differential in virtually all categories wouldn't make you think one team outscored the other by that much. NIU had ball a tad more in time of possession, no turnovers by either team, Marshall with more passing completions and yards but again, not to where you would have expected a 39 point differential. Didn't see the game.

I will root for NIU but living in Ohio it's going to be ugly
for the Huskies. They are not anywhere close to being
in the Buckeyes league. Just being real. I hate the Buckeyes.
