Yeah, I agree, but that doesn't mean the two year average enrollment rule isn't bad. There are public schools in the far SW, NW and west burbs that are now 8A and were 4A/5A a decade ago.DePaul and StL are both outliers with that rule.
Honest question what 8A school was 4/5A in 2014?Yeah, I agree, but that doesn't mean the two year average enrollment rule isn't bad. There are public schools in the far SW, NW and west burbs that are now 8A and were 4A/5A a decade ago.
The whole two year average thing is just weird and arbitrary.
Pretty sure Hampshire off the top of my headHonest question what 8A school was 4/5A in 2014?
Burlington Central seems to be on that trajectory as wellHonest question what 8A school was 4/5A in 2014?
St. Ignatius was 5A I think when started, then they were 6A when they made the semis in 2022, then they went to 8A last season. I don't know if they petitioned down and it was only for a certain time. They're enrollment never significantly changes since they are very selective and turn many away.Honest question what 8A school was 4/5A in 2014?
