Soucie breaks down who's moving where next year success/multiplier

We play a regular season schedule of mostly 7A schools. We're right where we should be (for the moment, anyway.) When we move up to 8A, we'll have playoff opponents with as many as 3.5 times the number of boys as us.
I see you give this answer often, but it's not generally reasoning you would accept from another school as to why they don't petition up. Kind of a silly answer.

SHG in 3A is insanity. The majority of the Cyclone fan base won't care as a state title is a state title, but there will be a few fans who will be embarrassed.

Naz got success factored up and went to 2 titles in 6a, winning once. Then they got success factored up and went to 2 titles in 7a, winning once. Spare me the bs.
Naz has definitely proven how great of a program they are. This sums it up right here. Kudos to Nazareth.

I have no idea about future changes to the CCL-ESCC League, but hoping Rita and Naz stay in the Green (or whatever color) and compete for years to come. It will obviously never match the MC/SR rivalry, but it can become a very good one.

Why?

They lost to a 2A school by 30 points. They aren’t very good right now.

Looks like trading SHG for Montini in 3A

SHG enrollment - 510
Montini enrollment - 585

What happened to IC?

They lost to St Laurence in the quarterfinals last year and went 4-5 this year so they lost their multiplier which will bring them to 2A. (If they can get in with their rigorous schedule)

And Notre Dame and Iggy are? Or did you just throw them in to beef up your weak argument?
LA, MC, BR, SR, JCA, PC, Naz, and Marist losing to public schools in the playoffs is weak relative to this argument I am in with Alexander32? LOL!

Plus, do your homework. The 2018 Notre Dame loss to by 7 pts to Cary Grove came in the 6A semis the year that CG won the title. ND gave CG their toughest game of the playoffs that year by far. The 2019 ND 10 pt loss to LWE in round two of the 2019 playoffs was in 8A. It was the closest playoff game LWE played that year on their way to an 8A title and the second highest points scored against LWE in 14 games that year. Ignatius was included in 2022 because their loss to Prairie Ridge came in the 6A semifinals. Had it been a first round loss I probably would not have included them.

SHG wouldn't have even been a top 5 school in 3A this past season.

I am pretty sure that if they were to win a 3A title next year that it would be a pretty remarkable turnaround from where they are at right now.

Yes, 2014 SHG in 3A would have been insanity. This isn't 2014 SHG.

I meant from the teams a few years ago. They were consistently title contenders and now they are hoping just to get to 5 wins?
