For you to disagree with me that Marmion is overrated is just false modesty.

I'm glad AC did not have to play Marmion, largely because we played four 6A schools and one 8A school. Adding another 6A school to the schedule would have been rough on a 2A school like AC, but I like our chances.

AC may have beaten Marmion this year. We fared the same or better than the Cadets with common opponents.

MA vs. DeLaSalle = 42-49
AC vs. DeLaSalle = 29-36
(edge to AC for giving up 13 fewer points)

MA vs. St. Laurence = 10-55
AC vs. St. Laurence = 8-58
(both got rolled badly - virtually same score)

MA vs. Bmac = 34-31
AC vs. Bmac = 55-28
(significant edge to AC here. Outscored Bmac 40-0 in 2nd half. Marmion needed OT at home to eek out win.)

That really stinks you had to take the tent down. Never get in the way of a good tailgate event!
