I know what an SF state championship feels like, and a Tuccs bowl win is just as nice. Might get a trophy made, mail it to you, so you can then mail it back to me.
Cmon, there are only 2 or 3 teams in 5A that have any chance to beat Naz. How about giving credit to SF?

SF has a bit too much talent to say “if Naz plays like this they’ll lose in the first two weeks”. Must be a lot of talent in 5A then.

This reads as though they played down to their competition tonight. But then at the end it reads as if SF is the king of 5a. Which is it

I respect St Francis they got a big program win this year. I also feel like anyone who has watched Naz football knows that wasn’t their best game last night uncharacteristic bad throws by the QB terrible penalties extending drives. St Francis wanted it more it meant more to them. Naz kinda just showed up and let them hang around instead of doing what they should have and paid the price for it.
I still say it was all part of the plan. That False confidence you guys came in with last year worked like a charm.
Clearly the second part was tongue in cheek as there is only one true king. The first part I feel is accurate 7-1 team coming in against 6-2 team after beating the pants off one of the teams that beat the 6-2 team. 7-1 team has back to back state champ returning starters one team “favored by 22” giving up 4th and long plays fake punts it’s not disrespectful just an observation.
This game meant more to Franny Naz didn’t come in up and ready for this one. They played down to their level let them hang around and paid the price. Franny wants to hang their hat on that one and look for pats on the back for that one they should watch that film. Needing fake punts stupid penalties and a few fourth and long blown assignments isn’t the better team winning it’s the team that wanted it and so played slightly less poorly though that’s hard to even say because like botched snap and stuff. It was an entertaining game but not a good game by any means.
I respect Franny they came out on top good job!

I will say I would not want to be the kid that got the late hit penalty in the film room. I doubt Racki could see it from the other side of the field, but it was bad, way late and out of bounds…..then taunting the crowd.
Naz has played as a much more cohesive team this year, but if you go up and down each roster this outcome should not be shocking.
SF has a bigger line on both sides of the ball, division 1 QB, several D1 receivers…Naz is the better football team but there’s a reason SF was able to go in and beat Loyola at their place and the reason is “talent”. Young talent sure, but talent nonetheless.
Cmon Racki won’t care. That type of play is on-brand for him since his Driscoll days. Back in the early 2000s when SF was a shell of a football program, the guy onside kicked up like 50 points.
Next year when they lose all their starters, I respectfully hope Mac gives them the 2022 Bishop Mac treatment.
I can’t speak to Driscoll but name one instance Naz has run up the score on anyone.

I'm enjoying this Naz/SF rivalry. Growing into one of the best in the CCL/ESCC. There seems to be a genuine dislike between the fan bases.

Prairie Ridge Rd 2 and then Sycamore in the quarters are some seriously tough games.
Plus can never sleep on Sterling in Rd 1.
Naz also has to get by a tough Rochelle team in the quarters.
