Semis… LFG …what are the best matchups???

Rooting for Rita in this one. Gotta win this for my old roomie, Jason "J-boy" Hodson, class of 1991. His "hatred" of MC was hyperbolically stereotypical. God rest his soul and Saint Rita, pray for him!
Being a product of an exceptional Catholic education I’m sure you meant to say dislike but heck/hell who am I to speak for you😂

I saw 24-22 LWE on Massey. Is the algorithm different for everyone? Lol. One of many reasons why I wouldn't want to use one of these systems to rank, sorry I mean seed, the playoffs.

now that you mention it that's user error on my part, or omission at least. it depends if you do home/away/neutral i was just going quickly thru all the semi matchups so i just did neutral for everyone. 24-22 in favor of LWE in frankfort

Le-Win/LeRoy will be sneaky good. LA/LWE, not so much.
Of course everybody is going to pick LWE, that's just how this board rolls, but I think its a happy trip back to Wilmette for the Ramblers and their fans 🥳 🎉

Private vs Public. 8A. Both teams better than either of the teams in the 7A semi
They should be. Both MC and SR have about 500 to 550 actual boys. (compared to IHSA bots) I don't know how many oys attend either LA ior LWE, but it's a helluva lot more than the two 7A schools you mentioned. Some 8A schools have four times as many.

BTW, how did whatever-school-you-attended do in the playoffs?

Little snot.

Look out, the Payday bars are kicking in!

Tom Delonge Wtf GIF

Naz vs St Francis…..evenly matched. A lot of recent history. And it seems there is a genuine dislike (at least between the fan bases), which makes for a more intense rivalry.

Naz vs WSF “ glimpses of last year. Naz lost week 9 and beat them in the semifinal. This might be the most exciting game to watch this weekend. Both teams are explosive and this game will be who has the ball last.

Might be hard for you to believe but the world does not revolve around Mt. Carmel. Naz vs St Francis is probably also a better matchup for the semifinals. It is not the end of the world.

While LWE has been rolling, LA has improved, I picked LWE to win but this game will probably be closer then everyone thinks as LA knows how to play LWE.

Althoff gets a rematch with Camp Point, the team that unceremoniously ended the Crusaders' season last in the quarter-finals. This year, the game will be played on artificial turf* and in front of the Belleville faithful. I hope they travel as well as they packed their home field. Althoff has decent seating for the away team and they can do what they want on their side of the field. Just not the home side or the end zones.

* Aside from the small visitors' stands, CPC's grass field was great, and the stadium was very nice.
