It's back to square one for Minooka in it's head coaching search. The Minooka school board last night failed to vote for in house assistant coach and defensive coordinator Matt Harding, who was the choice made after the Indians head coaching search.

Harding also received the endorsement of both former head coaches John Belskis and Terry McCombs, and both Belskis and McCombs had been asked to groom an in house candidate to eventually take over the head coaching position, which was thought to be Matt Harding.

Minooka just finished one of it's better three year runs in school history from 2017-2019 which saw the Indians make three straight IHSA state playoff appearances under Belskis/McCombs.
