Sad to report that Hall of Fame head coach Bob Lombardi passed away this weekend.

Tetelestai - "It is finished" @10:15 PM tonight We lost Grandpa, Dad, Coach and "Uncle Bob" Lombardi. He loves you all very much, a friend of mine said "there will be a celebration in heaven tonight and he will never look back" RIP and I love you very much Dad

This I remember: when fortunate enough to beat a Bob Lombardi-coached team when he was at Rich East, a staff knew something substantial had been accomplished.
