Will be a similar game to MP's game last week against Metamora. Morris will score but doesn't have the speed to keep up with MP.
Morris coach isn't the brightest and will try to go score for score with MP and will fail. Morris' only chance is to slow the game down and limit MP's possessions. If Morris goes full on "T" formation and marches down the field 4-6 yards at a time they have a chance, but they won't do that.
MP by at least 2 scores.

For the record 4Afan has said this Morris team is slow, "down", and has terrible coaching. He also picked them to lose to Triad and again to Highland. Yet, here they are in the quarterfinals still playing football. Exactly where those who actually know this team/program expected them to be. If Morris was anything he described them as, they would not be playing football right now. If you're still playing it's because you have earned it. I would take anything he says with a grain of salt.

Was absolutely sandbagging the first two rounds, but this round is an accurate assessment, they just don't have the speed.
Yes, a 5-4 Morris team is a down team for them. Getting absolutely run over by Sycamore and Rochelle is not normal.
The only thing I've said that I stand by is the coaching. Never been a fan of Thorson as many others haven't.
Step down off your high horse and look at things objectively and see things for what they are. If you think this is a good Morris team then you're the one that's not from around here.
Another great take.....Conference Championships and deep play off runs are terrible. Makes sense.
Until recently the conference hasn't exactly been all that tough, plus they've moved conferences a few times.
Name one big game Thorson has ever won.
I'm sure he's a fine man, but he's constantly over matched. This year alone he tried to go score for score with Peoria and they were never going to win that way. They were never going to beat this year's Sycamore team, but he never had the team prepared.
And did they win? They tried to go score for score and they lost, where is my assessment wrong?
Didn't they finish 3rd in the conference this year?
From my point of view I would love to see Morris win and then play JCA at Memorial stadium next weekend. (provided JCA gets past Peoria)
That wouldn't get to them....we get the wonderful smell of Costco hot dogs and sausages being smoked in the Costco processing plant here in town😂
I would normally love to see this. This year, not so much.
Would love to do that '99 game over again though.
