Mike Hohensee

He's had a rough few years. Will be interesting to see how he translates to the high school game

He's been a private coach for a number of local kids in my area. I do know he had a role for a bit with Judson. He seems to be a good communicator and works with younger kids as well. He is always positive on twitter and I used to see him when I was out and about in my neighborhood. Always smiling, always loving life. Never big timed people, always making eye contact saying hello. Was always fun telling my kids who he was from his days with the CB and the Rush. Hopefully a win win for both Ho and Montini.

I would be happier if they had someone come in as a defensive specialist.

Coach Ho was a QB and Montini in the last year has sold out more to the running game than the passing game which is unlike their history. So taking this into account it is an interesting move.

Would imagine it means he won’t be there at every practice and possibly game.
Would assume he will make most trips to NW Missouri State for home games at least. I dont know anything about Montini's staff, but i would guess he would be helpful watching film and working on technique, offseason and early in the week.

He's the best QB coach in the state... Montini has their guy in Israel; he has 2 years left and brought them a championship last year. He had his QBs in at least 3 of the state championship games this year. (Abrams, Chahino, & Stocks)

His youth sessions are so popular you can't get into them, and his son Mikey is back helping break down tape and game films.

I'd say that just since this post was made in 2021 (after he taught Trae Taylor and his father how to play QB, so they could switch up on him) he has just calmly proven himself, again.
