This will be short as far as highlights. MC won 6-0 after Linebacker Austin Haygood intercepted a pass and brought it back near the red zone....I think it was the red zone but at this point the whole field was pretty much completely covered in mud and I couldn't tell where the ball was....after grinding it down to the goal line, Justin Lynch ran it in for the game lone score. A mishandled snap led to no PAT try.

Neither team had any footing, many key plays ended for both teams on players slipping and falling down...Marimon threw about 3 INTS...they had one long pass play when a MC defender slipped, that was their biggest play of the day besides a well executed fake punt.

MC had a real tough time running their traditional offense but they got the lead and protected the ball and ran down the clock while the defense kept on grinding. I can't really say how Marimon was as a team under these playing conditions. They were a bunch of tough kids though, some good hits. QB was a gamer. took some big hits and got up....as a team they never gave up. They are 4-1, I see them being 6-3 for sure. MC you're 5-0, playoff eligible, keep going strong!

This game will help both teams I think. Sometimes you have to play in these type of games where Mother Nature takes over and you throw away the game plan and see who can overcome the adversities thrown at them. Good job to both teams. Marimon please have a fundraiser and get field turf though!

Last time I checked, the field conditions were same for both teams. Short field given to MC to start second half due to int otherwise MC isn't in red zone all day. Your recap failed to mention how MA tied score to end 3RD only to have TD nullified by accurate but inconsequential blocking downfield by slot. You would think a vaunted MC program with 80 kids on sideline could figure out how to play power football. Or, did they try and couldn't move ball? That's what I saw.

Well our RB ran for 100 yards so we kind of moved the ball so our vaunted program did play power football....yes I forgot about the TD Marmion got that was called back for a penalty, my apologies....I don't know why you chose to rip on MC though...I acknowledged both teams had to play in it....I gave kudos to your players and their toughness and said you will be in the State playoffs....I said both teams will be better in the long run...so not sure where you get off having the stones to question our program? Well it's your first post...show some class and you'll enjoy this site more.
