Props to LA on a huge victory. LWE is one of the best programs in the state with a dynamic team this year. LA had some adversity, and came through with this impressive victory.
I know LA is probably a double-digit favorite against Duke, but do not take them lightly at all. Sometimes, after a big win where so much energy was used, the following week a team can go flat. And York is very resilient--just like the LA program.

hasn't coached in over 20 years, be more recent. Still waiting on just one example of a bad call.
Oh, I don't know. I would say the CCL/ESCC record against every other conference has been pretty one-sided in recent years.
It’s almost like the best playing against the best all season makes you better….

This one feels like a “if they don’t get em now they won’t ever get em,” game for East. As much as Loyola fans won’t want to admit it, East is much better than this years Loyola team. What that means next weekend? Nothing. East should win

This is not the normal LA team from years past. Offense is super bland. They should let Bliss call the plays. Anyway if the MS defense can stop them for a half I feel like Beast should be able to do it for the whole game. Score should be 42-14 Beast but I think it will be more like a two score game. Please end this reign of terror!

As far as the game next week, my guess would be the BEAST by 3 scores.

feel free to search LWE on the board and see many instances of people who pay attention pointing out that LWE managed to find some superior talent in their zip code this year
Hollywood.....the gauntlet continues..... ( My apologies for the airhorn.....that really should be stopped....LA fans do something !) Jonas is the real deal and was as advertised....for sure. LA offensive / defensive lines took over in the second half. LA was able to run the ball all game. The LA O-Line "up-down" to draw the LWE line off-side to seal the victory ( and not give Jonas the ball back for a possible FG/TD which in 56 seconds was a possibility with him at the helm ..... is poetic justice. If you where at the LWE / LA state championship game the last time LWE won (2017) - when they had Henning - LWE did the same O-line "up-down" on LA to keep a critical drive alive and If I remember Henning scored like a play or two later to seal the deal for LWE. The fact LA could run the ball and chew clock kept Jonas off the field. Can't score if you are not on the field. Anyways - York awaits - and I am sure they they remember the last two times the played LA ...and lost. Hopefully LA can stay focus and remember it ain't over till it's over. There are no freebie's this late in playoff's. PS - I still feel bad for Marist - easily a semi-final team. Would have been interesting to see Ritter play against his old team with the Marist O-Line which was pretty impressive. I think they would have given LWE a run for their money as well. Great game for both sides and LWE will be back - Jonas is a junior and I am sure ....will be even better next year.
you did em a favor, now they have an extra week to hit the portal and really stack the deck for next year
i've been told that's why they're so good, plenty of PT for the next man up. no one in the state better at getting the second team in during a running clock!
Hopefully not for better in-conference competition. The best records this season for LWE opponents within their own league were by NC (11-2) and NN (7-3), both never-SICA schools.
I did not know Talon White transferred in from Marist as well - so Ritter goes to Marist (when Jonas comes to LWE from Bolingbrook) and White shows up as a new target for Jonas to throw too....nice.....makes a little more sense now. One last question - on the on-side kick i felt one - LWE touched the ball before the 10 yards - which is illegal - ? Did anyone see it on TV and replay it........LA came up with it ...but to me it look like LWE touched it before 10 yards ? (not that it matters now..!)
They are "private" schools - we recruit all of our students - not just football players.....that is why they are called "private schools' ! Ha!
Jonas Williams and talon white are definitely home-grown, Frankfort-born talents. Lincoln way didn’t do what they accuse the Catholic league of doing or anything and still lose. Nothing like that!

Was I wrong? Okay the 2nd half adjustments weren’t good in this game but they were in all previous games. It happens stop being a douche. The Ramblers were the better team move on.
I wish we had recruited the Oregon commit from Bolingbrook to move 25 miles to back up fitzgerald(joking) like LWE had. We might’ve lost by 3.
