Phonetically, that's how I read LWE in my head.
Peeps were right this could get ugly. 10-1 team getting a serious dose of reality. Big Daddy was spot on.

Terrible a 10-1 team gets taken to the woodshed. It shows the difference between the contenders and the pretenders. East is on a trajectory that is going to be tough to slow down. This team is on a mission.
East has done that to quite a few teams in the past. No shame for the Patriots
People actually surprised by this? Only surprise for me was Jonas Williams. Shocked at what he can do. Now I know why the brook was so upset to lose him. I said this earlier. I’ve watched thousands upon thousands of Illinois high school football games but I’ve never seen a player like Jonas Williams in Illinois. Maybe some better passers but not with that type of scrambling ability.
Johndoe- understood on your attendance concerns but I can tell you LWE supporters come out. A slight dip in this one but the Marching Band and extra bodies from the parents of the band was a factor. They are at a major national competition.
Stevenson faithfully had a pretty good crowd and a ton more than Loyola had at Marist the week before. Looking at the Loyola crowd was surprising but they did manage to bring the annoying air horn person to the South side at Marist. High School football is worth attending folks!
I have been saying the same thing ever since I saw him as a freshman for Bolingbrook vs East. East won the game but Jonas was very very good. He has fit in nicely for the Griffins and I believe he is the best QB in the state. Wouldn’t trade him for anyone. He has another year left before going to the Oregon Ducks. He will fit there system perfectly.
It’s been fun watching his growth at East. Coach Z has done an amazing job with Jonas this year.
Yes, it looks like he has the tools to play at the OR level. The Ducks, however, have a recent history of plug-and-play with more experienced transfer portal QBs for a season or two. It seems like someone is always coming or going at that position the last 5 years. Hope he can buck the trend as Herbert and Mariota did before the big shuffle kicked in.
