Truly a remarkable turnaround. One for the ages really. Congrats coach Czart and the Porter faithful!!
And the self proclaimed experts said they would lose by 3 TDs. Been proving them wrong all year. On to state go Porters!
It was inevitable. Loyola's been flirting with failure most of the season, winning four games by 3 points or less.
Congrats @Lockport Dad. Big win and a rematch of 2002 Lockport state championship win.

Congratulations Lockport. To say they have a better coach is just plain foolish at this stage of the game. LA coach has a long resume of winning and State Championships to back it up. Lockport fans be humble in your win and be a model for the SWSB! Again congratulations from a LWE fan!
Wow…congrats to George Czart and staff. The season was near perfect for them. Had QB1 played, other than punting vs. LWE, it may be a chance for an undefeated season. SWSB has some resurgent programs in Lockport and Sandburg along with the reliable Brook and LWE. Football has been a funny year at the HS level this year. Loyola…is Loyola strong. Maine South back again as well. Great 8A is back folks! LWE loses 3 games…all by 3 points each. 9 points total. Good luck next week to porter dad and MS4 ever!

Czart is a good coach and a better person.
The job he has done at Lockport is noteworthy. Clearly state COY. This program was a bottom feeder a few years back and is now 4 quarters from a state title.
Could not agree more about Czart and it is not the first time I have carried his torch. “At least” is in regards to you not using every chance you can to dump on LW210. You can go back to blocking me and responding to my posts now. George has moved on and has a good base to continue to move forward with. Congrats Porter fans!
Not gonna lie….I’m super pumped it’s 2 public schools in the 8A state title game! And the last one was 2 public schools as well! Nice to see kids from the same area codes and neighborhood plying for state state titles.

It's tough for any team to overcome 5 turnovers. Congratulations to Lockport on their win and to LA on a fine year.
Congrats to Lockport and good luck to them in the 8A State Championship game. LA 18-1 in the last year with it's only loss to Lockport and another CCL Blue title. Great year for the Ramblers but you are not gonna beat that Lockport team with five turnovers and no Marco Maldonado. LA returns a decent number of starters I believe as well - including QB1 for next year. Great day to be a Rambler !
Yeah, me too. I'm super pumped because it proves, once again, that the so called private school advantage is not all that it is cracked up to be.

you know its not LA's day when the 5th string freshman running back comes in and Stearney (w/thumb) couldn't even connect on short screens in 2H
18 straight wins in 2021 not bad given schedule and Marco loss this fall and TE James Kyle previously (he had received power-five offers as a sophomore before blood clot issues - now cleared for college)
thankful both these outstanding kids are healing and getting (limited) college looks, they'll outplay expectations
