Game of the day for fans who love a great pregame is Wilmo vs Montini.
Supposedly two of the best pregame entrances in the state. Wilmington with Metallica and Harley motorcycles coming out of the woods. Montini with the mix of a guy on a real horse leading the team out while techno/edm music blares and fireworks get set off at the wrong time.
Should be a great atmosphere. Fans will be rabid on both sides. Fully expect to hear calls for holding on every single play from both sides.
Montini will struggle again stopping the 3-4 yards per play but has enough “horses” to win the game by a couple tds.

Full day planned of sitting here watching IHSA playoff football. A lesser man would buckle under this kind of pressure.
Heavy breakfast at The Sauget Diner to give me a base. Leaving our fine village for the big city of Belleville in 90 minutes and will prep for the 2:00 start. It's gonna be a great day for playoff football - sunny and 50 degrees!

High school football is the greatest game in sports.
It is going to be a great day of football. A lot of really great games. I will be at LWE vs LA game. The CG vs Geneva and NC vs York are really intriguing. Good luck to all teams. Everyone play your best and leave it all on the field. Pray no injuries!
I believe I nailed it. All great games. My team didn’t win but it was a very entertaining game. I would have loved to see what Jonas would have done had East got the ball back if East defense didn’t jump off sides. It would have been fun to watch.

They weren’t getting the ball back. Fitz, the best QB on the field, was going to run it and was going to get what he needed.
