Terrific terrific game at NC tonight literally felt like a second round playoff game to be honest.
Felt like a heavyweight fight to be honest.
Neuqua Valley- Just a hard nosed team as expected here. Was really impressed with the Wildcats on both the O line and the D line. Very good sized upfront and the D line play hard and match-up up well with a huge NC O line. Offense has a very solid running game deep group of backs as well.
Only real issue I saw for NV? Kicking/punting game needs definite work.
NC- running game was solid liked the O line play. Passing game seemed pretty conservative even for NC system yet the receivers and QB Connor Joyce has the potential to open things up a bit more this fall. Defense again bent at times but didn't break. Special teams was a big advantage here for NC.
My Players of the Game? Really no overwhelming performances to be honest (Isaiah Robertson was right there if NV won played well on both sides of the ball and #5 RB/LB Nick Osikowicz is a beast for NV) so I went with the entire NC O Line who led them to the game winning drive.
More coming in the Scouting Reports.
