Terrific crowd and atmosphere at Stevenson for this one.

Libertyville basically set the tone from the opening play of the game as Riley Lees went 80 yards for the touchdown.

The Wildcats just caught early momentum and never let it go. Lees is no question the real deal here. Has exceptional speed and can go from 0-60 in about a step and a half. he is very patient making his reads in the one back shotgun read options, seldom makes a bad decision and just explodes in any open alley. Also credit to the cats O line here as well.

Stevenson? Took the Pats and QB Jack Sorenson about a quarter to get going and the defense really never fully recovered from the two early big plays they allowed to Lees and Libertyville.

The defense again would make 3-4-5 stops then would allow the big play for Stevenson, always a back breaker for anyone.

Overall? I feel semi good where I have the Kitties for now in the Top 30. Stevenson? Looked to be like a mid to upper teens type of team, could be a potential Round 2/Quarterfinal type of team depending upon the bracket in 8A.
