IHSA March Meeting Three Significant Changes To Classification Policy

IHSA is in full assault mode on the CCL. If DePaul Prep has to jump, at least 2 to 3 classes because of all the adjustments. Is the criteria actually even for competitiveness sake? Or just to satisfy the lower half of the state programs that had their ego bruised last season?

Depaul was grossly misplaced due to IHSA incompetence.

I don't think it has anything to do with ego or targeting the CCL. If you actually believe DePaul should still be playing 4A football when their enrollment has gone from "800" - 1400.... you're just as incompetent as the IHSA.

They had 6a numbers with no adjustments and won the 4a title because of bad policy. They caught there once in a lifetime break and capitalized on it.
