If the District system was in place for 2019...Who would be your 7A Playoff Teams?

Using our guy Steve Soucie District projections using 7A....who would be your 4 IHSA state qualifier teams from each District? Which teams have an easier path? Which teams would get "left out" despite being a pretty strong team because of it's loaded district? (and yes I'm aware of East St Louis not planning to move up to 7A....just play along regardless for now)


CLASS 7A (64 teams, 8 Districts)

District 1 (8 teams): Algonquin (Jacobs), DeKalb, Moline, Rockford (Auburn), Rockford (East), Rockton (Hononegah), Yorkville.

District 2 (8): Buffalo Grove, Fox Lake (Grant), Highland Park, Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Mundelein, Northbrook (Glenbrook North), Round Lake.

District 3 (8): Arlington Heights (Hersey), Chicago (Lincoln Park), Chicago (Schurz), Des Plaines (Maine West), Maywood (Proviso East), Mount Prospect, Park Ridge (Maine East), Skokie (Niles North).

District 4 (8): Addison (Trail), Elgin (Larkin), Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, St. Charles (North), Schaumburg, Streamwood.

Interesting change of pace from the Naz perspective. A few years ago they "should only be a 4A/5A team," and it wasn't "fair to the kids" for having to play up due to other teams successes.
